The Dubliner Irish Pub & Restaurant
If you only go to Dubliner Irish Pub on St. Patrick’s Day, you’re doing yourself a disservice. On March 17, the Dubliner is packed, raucous and a hell of a lot of fun. But on every other day, it’s simply a great neighborhood bar: a place to meet for a first date, grab one last drink on your way home or watch football on Sundays with the gang. Its Irish pub bona fides are undisputable; it was opened in 1985 by Seamus McCaffrey (yes, that one), and it claims to be the first bar in Phoenix to serve Guinness on tap. But to the cool backstory, the Dubliner adds good food, friendly bartenders, a variety of games and a solid lineup of live music, which makes it a great place to hang out any day of the year.
