First off, the Phinal Phour was off the hook.

Last night, four of Phoenix’s best local bands – CooBee Coo, The Stakes, Jerusafunk, and Bear Ghost – took the stage at Rebel Lounge. They were the finalists picked by New Times readers over two rounds of voting in a contest we dubbed Phoenix Music Madness.

It came down to the wire. But hip-hop band The Stakes came away with the crown. They will win a full-page feature in New Times.
