Brenna (Sakas) Heater

The Miss Arizona USA 2006, actress and model invites you to her husband Nate Heater's band Seconds to Breathe's sophomore album Bringers of Light CD release party on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Martini Ranch in Old Town Scottsdale.

When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? Probably Air1. Or K-LOVE. I flip back and forth.

What's the first record you bought? I distinctly remember this one. I was around 12-years-old, and I bought Hanson's first album. Oh, how I loved Taylor. Mmmbop forever.

What's the first concert you saw? Ha! I'm gonna embarrass myself with this one--Beach Boys. My parents are big fans, so when the band came to town when I was 8. I could not pass up the chance to see them live at the Mesa Amphitheatre. I'm pretty sure Mike Love even touched my hand. Just saying.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? Since meeting my husband, I've been to many awesome concerts, but the one that comes to mind was in August 2009. We went to see Incubus just a couple weeks after we met, and I remember that was the night I fell in love. Aw. I'm sure Brandon Boyd's voice had something to do with it.

What's the last song played on your portal music player? "Go," from Hillsong United's latest album, Aftermath.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? 8-track. Just kidding. Do people still use those? My favorite is digital--portability is essential!

What's your favorite CD? I don't play favorites.

Who is your favorite singer or band? See previous answer.

Does your computer track how many times you've played something -- if so, what's at the top of the list? I'm sure my computer does, but I don't have a clue how to find "the list." If I had to gues,s I would say "Grace Ocean" by Brian Wurzell. He's the worship leader at my church and I just love the title track from the album he released earlier this year.

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2010? I just downloaded Audrey Assad's 2010 album The House You're Building, and it's amazing. Her voice is mesmerizing.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "Our God Is Greater," by Chris Tomlin. "Our God is greater/Our God is stronger/God You are higher than any other/Our God is healer/Awesome in power/Our God, our God..." Amazing words of truth.

What is your favorite local music venue? Marquee Theatre.

Who is your favorite local band? Seconds to Breathe. Duh. My hubby plays guitar.

What is your favorite music video? Michael Jackson's "Thriller." Haha. I'm not big into music videos and that's the only one that came to mind.
