Coldplay Is Coming to Phoenix in 2022

Coldplay announced today that the band will tour in 2022, and a metro Phoenix gig is on the list of shows.

The band will bring their Music of the Spheres World Tour to State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. It's one of only 11 U.S. dates on the tour, which will take the band to Costa Rica, Brazil, Germany, and France, just to name a few countries.

The tour is in support of Coldplay's new album, Music of the Spheres, which comes out October 15. H.E.R. will be the opening act for most of the dates, including the State Farm Stadium show.

Tickets for all U.S. dates will go on sale to the general public starting Friday, October 22 at 10 a.m. local time at

To ensure tickets get into the hands of fans directly, the tour will also have a Verified Fan presale available for all U.S. dates. Registration for U.S. tour dates is available now here through 6 p.m. Arizona time on Sunday, October 17 via Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program. Verified Fan presale begins Wednesday, October 20 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, October 21, at 10 p.m. local time.
