When you put your key in the ignition and turn on the radio, what station would play right now? 103.9-FM.

What's the last song played on your music player? "Jack Sparrow" by The Lonely Island. What can I say, their music is great, and somehow Michael Bolton getting a farcical comeback is highly entertaining.

What's the first album you bought? Science, by Incubus.

What's the first concert you saw? Green Day when they did their American Idiot tour at the America West Arena (now US Airways Center). Great memories.

What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? My favorite concert that I've been to has to be Gogol Bordello in 2010 at the Marquee Theatre. I love shows where the music is so engaging, and it gives you the chance to really let loose.

Preferred format: CD, vinyl, cassette, 8-Track or digital? Digital all the way. I grew up on CDs, and way too many of them got damaged when I was young. I learned my lesson quickly when the iPod came out!

What's your favorite album? Recently, it's been Treats by Sleigh Bells. But all-time? Tough. It has to be Collision Course, by Jay-Z and Linkin Park. As you may have now realized, my music tastes are scattered.

Who is your favorite singer or band? MC Chris.

Does your computer track how many times you've played something? If so, what's at the top of the list? "Hot Mess," by Chromeo. I saw the music video, and I was hooked!

What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2010? The Social Network album. I found that the mix used was outstanding and probably one of the best uses of audio in any film. I watched it again the other day, and I found myself shutting my eyes and just listening to the track. That alone was able to tell a story. Albums like that are rarities.

What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "Home," by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. The song speaks, and hopefully the audience will listen.

Who is your favorite local artist? I can't pick favorites. I've worked with so many talented artists on music videos and other projects in the Valley.

What is your favorite local venue to see music? Either the Clubhouse Music Venue or the Marquee. Both are awesome for different reasons, but as long as the act is good, that's the real reason that I'll go. The Marquee is good for large audiences, and the Clubhouse is good for smaller acts.

What is your favorite music video? "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. Fantastic Cinematography and clever scripting make this a great video. Still, nothing is better than "Thriller."
