You might want to put some sunglasses on before taking a gander at this brightly colored flier from The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! Yes, they're really called that, and yes, there is an exclamation point at the end of the band name.

"We roll deep," says singer Neil Fridd. "We start with kick ass songs that will make your butt giggle. We then incorporate the newest, most dangerous technology recently developed by Nasa into a life-changing, mind-boggling light show."

The group is comparable to the Valley's own Peachcake, where the 9-member band wears crazy costumes (think strings of lights, stuffed animal adornments) and runs into the crowd during performances. If you've ever seen anything at The Trunk Space, you know this is the perfect venue for this type of band.

Judging by the multi-hued faces on the flier, and the expressions of the people in the picture, this is going to be one eclectic show. Some of the people look terrified, some look confused, and some look ecstatic. While it's not a requirement to cover your face in paint or glue on jewels or ribbons to your forehead, just think about how AWESOME it would be if all the attendees did it...just a thought.

The band is joined by Los Angeles pop group The Shakes, Hollywood pop act Destroyah  and local indie act Treasure Mammal, making for quite the line-up.

And if the poster alone isn't enough to grab your attention, the video below of The Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt! might make you want to check the band out...and start picking out your costume now. The show, which starts at 7 p.m., is all-ages and costs $8.

"We're some of the most fun you can have on a Saturday night, and you'd be a fool not to come," Fridd says.
