Nine Inch Nails haven't played live since 2022, and the band hasn't visited Phoenix since 2018. Fortunately, that grave error will be remedied this fall as NIN embark on a significant world tour.

The Peel It Back Tour 2025 heads to Phoenix on Sept. 16 at the Footprint Center. So, just what can we expect from NIN in 2025? Seems as if, even some 30-plus years in, Trent Reznor and company have only gotten better as this all-consuming force of live music. Cleveland.com went as far as to call the band's 2022 world tour finale as "one of the greatest and most singular concerts in the band’s history." Should be a real fun time, gang.

It's also likely that NIN will be performing some new music during the tour. As Pitchfork reported in Aug. 2024, Reznor and NIN are recording the soundtrack to the forthcoming "Tron: Ares" film that's due in theaters on Oct. 10. (It's the first time NIN have recorded a soundtrack as Reznor has only previously worked with long-time collaborator Atticus Ross.) Meanwhile, the band's most recent albums, "Ghosts VI: Locusts" and "Ghosts V: Together," debuted back in 2020.
General tickets are on sale starting Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 12 p.m. local time via NIN.com.
