Just like many summers since 2015, people packed into a downtown venue to watch multiple bands formed at Girls Rock Phoenix's summer day camp perform their original songs during a week where they learn how to play instruments, form bands and rock the heck out on a daily basis.

Showcase destination Walter Studios was full of proud family members, caregivers, and friends and a community that loved seeing what these campers created in just one week. The camp bands took over the stage one at a time and rocked their hearts out. For most campers, it was not just their first time performing in front of a crowd of hundreds but an opportunity to do so under the bright lights at an active live music club.

Girls Rock! Phoenix, the nonprofit organization, just turned 10, so this year's Summer Camp 2025 Showcase was a huge celebration for the group that runs a weeklong camp for girls and gender nonconforming youth ages 8 to 17.
