Puscifer is dropping a new record in early 2026, their fifth studio album.
In the meantime, to keep your ears packed with their tracks in anticipation, the group has released “In Case You Were Napping,” a 15-song, digital-only collection that celebrates the band’s nearly two decades in action.
Per a press release about the record, the group of songs chosen for this record went through a thoughtful process. “Pulling from the band’s albums and EPs, “In Case You Were Napping” serves as both a primer for new listeners and a curated journey for longtime fans,” it says.
The mix of tunes includes favorites like “Momma Sed” and “Conditions Of My Parole,” as well as compelling songs like “The Mission — M Is For Milla Mix” (featuring vocals from Milla Jovovich) and 2020’s “Apocalyptical.”
Currently, there’s one way to hear the songs from the upcoming 2026 release: Puscifer is doing two performances on August 11 at Exchange L.A., and while the later set is sold out, a 5 p.m. set may still have a handful of tickets available.
At their core, electro-rockers Puscifer build on a sonic foundation by creating multimedia experiences for audiences. The trio consists of Maynard James Keenan, Mat Mitchell, and Carina Round. However, always expect their musical landscape to sprout extra humans in the form of collaborating guests.
