Details have yet to emerge, but Alternative Press reported that an anonymous source said “Stevens was found dead [yesterday] morning by his girlfriend in Tucson, Arizona.”

Scary Kids Scaring Kids formed in Gilbert in 2002. The members of the six-piece group were all graduates of Gilbert’s Highland High School. They were quickly noticed around the valley, and by 2005, the band was playing the Vans Warped Tour. A record deal with Immortal Records followed, and later the band signed a major deal with RCA Records. After recording just two albums, the band broke up in 2009.
