Sadly, if you had plans to see the Steve Miller Band at the Pool at Talking Stick Resort on October 23, that won’t happen. The band announced today that the entire North American tour is canceled, citing extreme weather conditions as the reason for ending the run of shows.

A post on the band’s website explained the situation in more detail: “The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes, and massive forest fires makes these risks for our audience, the band, and crew unacceptable. So ... you can blame it on the weather ... The tour is cancelled.”

The Talking Stick Resort issued the following message on their site, regarding the cancellation and ticket refunds:

“Unfortunately, Steve Miller Band has canceled the rest of their 2025 tour. This will affect the October 23 show at Talking Stick Resort. Guests who’ve purchased tickets through Ticketmaster with a credit/debit card will be automatically refunded, and cash tickets purchased directly from CAZ or TSR Box Office locations will be refunded upon request in person. All others should reach out to their original point of purchase for refund.”

The tour was scheduled to begin in August and go through early November, making over 30 stops across the U.S.

Miller, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, started the band in 1966 and is the band’s only original member.

The video has the message straight from the band.
