Innings Festival isn’t the only music event tied to the Cactus League spring training season.
The city of Surprise’s Out of the Park Music Fest will be back for its second year on March 22 and recently, the festival announced its 2025 headliner.
Country music star Ernest will headline the event, which will take place from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Ernest, whose full name is Ernest Smith, is a Nashville native with more than 10 million monthly Spotify listeners. His third and most recent album, “Nashville, Tennessee,” came out in April.
More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.
Will you step up to support New Times this year?
At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $16,000 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
In addition to the music, Out of the Park, which will be held at Mark Coronado Park next to Surprise Stadium, will offer guests a beer garden, food trucks, yard games and activities for the whole family.
Tickets are on sale now on the festival website. Cost is $30 until Dec. 31, $40 after and $50 day of show. VIP tickets are $100 each and include a dedicated viewing area, catering, drinks, private restrooms and parking.
