Taylor Swift is now in control of her music catalog after buying back the masters of six records that were most recently owned by Shamrock Capital, a private equity firm.

On Friday, the megastar graced her official website with a handwritten note brimming with excitement about the transaction, writing, "All of the music I 've ever made... now belongs... to me."  And the joy doesn't end there. She goes on to say that it is "her greatest dream come true."

In typical T-Swift fashion, she gives props to the fans for this accomplishment, saying their "passionate support" is the reason the Eras Tour was such a success, which helped this buyback opportunity become a reality.

In the letter, Swift addresses not just the fans about this purchase but also the industry and how her ongoing conversation about this process has ignited meaningful conversations regarding artists and their music rights. As she's worked toward this moment, she has spent ample time rerecording four of them as "Taylor's version," which she includes in this announcement letter.

There seems to be only good feelings between Swift and the masters' now-former owners, which she also goes into in the letter, expressing more gratitude. "I will forever be grateful to the people at Shamrock Capital for being the first people ever to offer this to me." She also joked that she may have to make her first tattoo a giant shamrock "right on the middle of my forehead."
