It certainly appears that Sheriff Joe Arpaio is going to get a babysitter monitor as a result of the Melendres racial-profiling lawsuit.
Maybe, just maybe, the MCSO will operate a little differently with this appointed monitor looking over Arpaio’s shoulder.

It’ll be the monitor’s job to make sure Arpaio’s boys are complying with whatever order U.S. District Judge Murray Snow comes back with.
Lawyers for MCSO and the ACLU were arguing over some of the other remedies in court on Friday, but the monitor seems all-but-certain.
