The Mormon Church has an interesting voice in a new television ad being aired in Arizona and Utah — a seven-foot tall transvestite hooker.

Well, he’s not an actual transvestite hooker (as far as we know) but he played one on TV.

Phil Vantee, a Los Angeles comedian/ banjo player, played the role of “Crack Head Drag Queen” in an episode of Comedy Central’s hilarious Cops spoof Reno 911.

In the episode, entitled “Execution Tickets,” Vantee plays the grotesque transvestite prostitute referred to as “Man With Teats” by the “officers” of the show.

The plot is simple: There is an upcoming execution at a Nevada prison, and Officer Dangle and company have been given a pair of tickets to go to the death chamber and witness the event.

To determine which officers get the tickets, the cops create a freak show scavenger hunt, which includes a “man with teats.”

That “man with teats” is now featured in the ad promoting the Mormon Church’s Web site.

The Mormon Church did not respond to a call this morning to see if it knew about its newest testimonialist’s former gig, but Vantee tells Fish Bowl LA it probably didn’t.

Vantee says he just responded to an ad to give a testimonial for the Mormon Church about “what he really thought,” which he did and was paid $500 for his comments, which are now being aired all across Arizona and Utah.
