Bombay Spice's Cheap and Healthy New Menu and Taco Soup Tuesday in Today's Eater's Digest

Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Healthy and Cheap?
Bombay Spice in North Phoenix has announced their new menu just in time to help you stick to your New Year's resolutions. The new menu will have you eating healthy and saving money, everything on the menu is under 500 calories and not a dime over $10. The Indian restaurant's new menu will still include customer favorites such as chickpea ceviche and grilled lamb chops. In addition to the faves, you will now be able to build your own custom wrap or bowl with a variety of vegetables and proteins. Another new item is Chaat, a popular, lowfat yogurt street snack. Everything is made with extra virgin olive oil and there isn't a trace of butter or cream in sight. The entire menu is available for lunch, dinner and take out. Click here for the full menu.

Taco Tuesday!
It's Taco Tuesday, again! Because of the chilly weather, we have been on a big soup kick. We even want our taco's in soup form. Good thing Cook Like a Champ has the same idea. Check out her recipe for Taco Soup. Along with all the usual suspects, beans, tomatoes, taco seasoning, it also includes a packet of ranch dressing mix. We are a little leery of that, but what the heck, we'll give it a shot!
