Lucky for stressed shoppers, most Phoenix grocery stores are open – at least in the morning – on Dec. 24. Almost all Valley grocery stores will be closed on Dec. 25. But there are a couple of spots that will keep the lights on this Christmas.
Here's which Phoenix grocery stores will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to make your holiday celebration delicious.

Safeway is a safe bet for last-minute Christmas Eve shopping. The stores will stay open until 11 p.m. on Dec. 24.

Phoenix grocery stores open on Christmas Eve
- AJ's Fine Foods: open until 7 p.m.
- Albertsons: open until 11 p.m.
- Aldi: open until 4 p.m.
- Bashas': open until 7 p.m.
- Costco: open until 5 p.m.
- El Super: open until 10 p.m.
- Food City: open until 9 p.m.
- Fry's: open until 9 p.m. Fry's pharmacies will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
- H Mart: open until 10 p.m.
- Safeway: open until 11 p.m.
- Sam's Club: open until 6 p.m.
- Sprouts: open until 7 p.m.
- Target: open until 8 p.m.
- Trader Joe's: open until 5 p.m.
- Walmart: open until 6 p.m.
- Whole Foods Market: open until 7 p.m.
- WinCo: open until 5:30 p.m.
Phoenix grocery stores open on Christmas Day
El Super is open on Christmas Day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
H Mart in Mesa is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas.
While they might not have many aisles of produce to choose from, Walgreens might come in handy if you're in search of a pint of milk, a loaf of bread or a bottle of wine this Christmas. The convenience stores are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Day. The pharmacies, however, will be closed.
Locations of CVS will similarly be open on Christmas, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The pharmacies will be closed.
