Across the Valley, local businesses are raising money or collecting items to assist those impacted by the devastating California wildfires. Here are nine spots to share your support.
Huss Brewing Co.
Multiple locations Tempe-based Huss Brewing Co. is helping those in need by donating proceeds from one of their craft brews. The company is giving $2 from every pint of their Southwest Strong West Coast IPA to the California Fire Foundation. The foundation provides assistance to firefighters, their families and the communities they serve. "Together, we can help rebuild lives and show our gratitude to those on the front lines," Huss shared in a post. "Join us in raising a glass for a cause."
The West Coast IPA is available at all Huss locations throughout metro Phoenix.

Mesquite Fresh Street Mex is donating a portion of their proceeds to help those in need.

Multiple locationsMesquite Fresh Street Mex, a local chain with 10 fast-casual restaurants spread throughout the Valley, is raising money for the Los Angeles Fire Department during January. Through the end of the month, the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from all burrito sales. So, on your next visit, if you can't decide between a quesadilla, tacos or a burrito, select the latter to help those in need.The Brunch House at Sunbar
24 W. Fifth Street, TempeOn the weekends, Tempe's Sunbar hosts a daytime party called the Brunch House. Organizers of the event are hosting a clothing drive to help those who have lost their belongings in the California fires. The drive is collecting new socks and underwear plus new or lightly used shirts, pants, cold weather clothing and protective gear in any size. In addition to clothing, the group is also collecting cases of bottled water, blankets, feminine products, N95 masks, first aid kits and baby wipes. Drop-offs can be made on Jan. 18 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m."We know how incredible this community is here in Arizona and our neighbors to the west severely need our help more than ever," the group shared.
On Jan. 23, the team plans to load up a box truck with all of the donations and drive them to the Los Angeles Mission.
Pizzeria Bianco and Pane Bianco

Central Ave.Valley staple Pizzeria Bianco is uniquely connected to the devastation in California, as the Phoenix-based company has a location of its pizzeria and its sandwich shop Pane Bianco in Los Angeles. On Jan. 9, the restaurants closed due to the fires, but a day later quickly rebounded and turned their attention to assisting those in need. Pane Bianco and Pizzeria Bianco are providing free pizza and water to firefighters, first responders and evacuees. In Phoenix, locations of Pizzeria Bianco and Pane Bianco are open. A visit will assist the company in continuing its efforts across state lines.
Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co.
721 N. Arizona Ave., Gilbert 201 E. Roosevelt Street Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. is helping raise money for the Los Angeles County Firefighters’ Benefit and Welfare Association through Feb. 1. When paying your bill at the brewery, round up the total to the nearest dollar. Arizona Wildnerness will then match the donation, raising funds for wildfire relief.
Highball
1514 N. Seventh Ave. Local cocktail bar Highball is raising funds for Pasadena Humane with an aptly named food and drink special. Through the end of January, the bar will donate $1 from every Dog & Pony Show sold. At the end of the month, the bar plans to match the amount raised. The Dog & Pony Show includes a Sonoran Glizzy Dog by CC’s on Central, a Miller High Life pony beer and a one-ounce pour of Old Grand Dad Bonded Bourbon. The combo costs $12 and is available at the bar on Sundays through Thursdays. Bakesale at The Churchill
Jan. 19901 N. First St. The Churchill will welcome bakers from around the Valley on Sunday for a community bake sale to raise money for California fire relief. Vendors will include The Dinersaur, Moxie Coffee Co., Copper Star Coffee, The Biscotti Box, Valentine and others. Proceeds from the bake sale will go toward the California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, Pasadena Humane Society and the CA Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund. Neighbor Market, a specialty foods store within The Churchill, will also donate a portion of its sales on Jan. 19. The bake sale will run from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Pure Moods at Gracie's Tax Bar
Jan. 19711 N. Seventh Ave.Gracie's Tax Bar and Las Lloronas are teaming up to raise money at a special event this Sunday. The bar plans to donate $1 from every Pure Moods Cosmopolitan sold to Another Round Another Rally. The organization supports those in the restaurant and bar industries, and the fundraiser will help restaurant workers impacted by the California fires.
