Located in the former Jimmy John's location near Arizona State University's campus, the restaurant is tiny. Plan to take your slices to go, as there are no tables to sit inside. A pizza counter displays multiple layers of options, and there's just enough room for massive stacks of pizza boxes piled up to the ceiling. The white and green boxes read "Delivering happiness one slice at a time."
While it's small in stature, this new slice shop serves giant flavor.

Pizza is available whole or by the slice in many unique flavors. Each slice gets a spin through the pizza oven, and is served piping hot.

The most famous option is the Spicy Spring, a thick, square slice topped with Fra Diavolo sauce, fresh mozzarella, Pecorino Romano and cup and char pepperoni. The crust is tender and satisfyingly doughy in the center, with a crisp, sturdy base. A mountain of pepperoni cups are piled on each slice, generating bright orange grease that runs down your fingers as you dig in.
For something delicious, messy and nostalgic, this slice stands out.

The Oakey Smokey (clockwise from top), Spicy Spring, Meat Lovers and Spicy Vodka slices are all winning choices.

Not all of the slices are square, and from the Neapolitan lineup, we liked the Oakey Smokey, which is topped with smoked mozzarella, Pecorino Romano and sliced fresh basil. The crust was crisp, the toppings were tasty. But if we're heading to Prince St., the "Sicilian Soho Squares" get our vote.

Prince St. Pizza started in New York City in 2012. Now, Arizona joins its list of locations.
