The new bar is located in Terminal 4 between gates D14 and D17 and serves the Chandler-based company's locally made vodkas, whiskeys and gins. Cocktails are also on the menu, and fans of the Chandler bar will recognize many of the staples, such as the CaraMellow Macchiato and the Smoked Peach Pie.
The new bar also serves SanTan Brewing's beers, with six signature options including MoonJuice IPA, Mr. Pinneapple Wheat and a special brew called Sky Harbor Lager.
“Our team at SanTan is brimming with Valley pride, and we are proud to represent the best in local spirits and brews to the millions of travelers that make their way through Sky Harbor each year,” Jamie Hoffman, co-owner of SanTan Brewing and SanTan Spirits, said in a news release. “We can’t wait to give visitors a taste of Arizona hospitality before they even leave the airport.”
SanTan launched in Chandler in 2007 and was one of the state's pioneers in craft beer. In 2015, the company expanded into the world of distilling, starting with single malt whiskey before venturing into vodkas, botanical spirits, bourbon, rye and gin.
Then, in 2019, SanTan opened Spirit House, a small 49-seat bar and tasting room directly behind the downtown Chandler brewpub.
SanTan is familiar with serving travelers at the airport, as the brewery has a location in Terminal 3. But now, anyone traveling through Terminal 4 can stop by Spirit House and taste their way through a few spirits before takeoff.
