Best Reader Caption For Photo of "Marlboro Macho Man" Matt Salmon: MGH
There's nothin' like smoked Salmon.
Congratulations to the New Times reader who goes by the handle MGH, you are the proud winner of this week's New Times You Write the Caption contest.
Friday, we asked readers to provide what they think would be an appropriate caption for the above photo of Congressional candidate "Marlboro Macho Man" Matt Salmon's transformation from lobbyist to cowboy (now that he's running for office in Arizona).
The photo was taken a couple of weeks ago when Salmon headed down to the border to shoot what's been described to New Times as a John McCain-esque "build the danged fence" campaign ad. The folks at Political Mafioso used Photoshop to spruce the photo up a bit.
