After the controversial healthcare bill became law yesterday morning, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin unveiled her political hit list of the members of Congress she hopes to see voted out of office in November.
In the Palin-ator's crosshairs are three of Arizona's five Democratic members of Congress, including Tucson Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, who seems to be taking the brunt of the healthcare-related outrage after having the window to her office broken by someone believed to be protesting the new law.
Also in the AZ section of Palin's list are Democratic Representatives Ann Kirkpatrick and Harry Mitchell, who both supported the healthcare bill.
Arizona's three members of Congress are on a list of 20 that Palin posted on her Facebook page as part of a campaign she's calling "Take Back the 20."
Palin says on her page that she is targeting members of Congress who supported the bill and also represent districts that voted for her and Senator John McCain in the 2008 presidential election.

"We're going to reclaim the power of the people from those who disregarded the will of the people. We're going to fire them and send them back to the private sector, which has been shrinking thanks to their destructive government-growing policies," Palin says in the text accompanying her post. "Maybe when they join the millions of unemployed, they'll understand why Americans wanted them to focus on job creation and an invigorated private sector. Come November, we're going to print pink slips for members of Congress as fast as they've been printing money."
The Arizona Democratic Party doesn't think Sarah has any business dropping bombs in Arizona this election cycle.
"Arizonans don't need Alaskans to tell us how to vote. Our state is already grappling with a devastating budget crisis and an epic failure of leadership from the Republicans in power at the state Capitol. The last thing Arizona needs is to become a prop for a failed
politician-turned-celebrity with a national agenda," says Jennifer Johnson, spokeswoman for the Arizona Dems.
