The Phoenix parks and recreation department employee who police say admitted to molesting three teenagers between 1995 and 1998 has pleaded not guilty in the case.

Arthur Rey Juarez, 42, was picked up by detectives on March 30, the day before he had a "a scheduled activity with children on Easter Sunday," Phoenix police said.

Phoenix police said the three victims -- now adults, obviously -- reported being molested in 2001 but were "unsure if they desired prosecution at the time." Therefore, the case was closed at that time.

The case was reviewed this year by Phoenix PD's Child Crimes Task Force, and after contacting the victims again, they told police this time they all wanted Juarez prosecuted.

According to court documents obtained by New Times, the first victim told police he was 13 when he stayed at Juarez's house in the summer of 1998, and while he was sleeping, Juarez grabbed his penis and put it in his mouth.

On another occasion, Juarez tried to untie his shorts while he was sleeping, according to the documents.

The second victim said Juarez was giving him a massage when he was 16, in either late 2005 or 2006, when Juarez started rubbing his testicles. He said on another occasion, he also slept at Juarez's house, and Juarez touched his penis, outside of his pants, according to the documents.

The third victim said he was 14 years old, and in either 1995 or 1996, he was sleeping at Juarez's house when Juarez touched his penis over his clothing.

According to court documents, Juarez told police his "behavior was inappropriate," and he specifically admitted to touching the second victim's genitals while massaging him.

Juarez was a parks department employee for 15 years, according to court documents.

Juarez's next court date is on May 24.
