Robert Fisher, Who's on FBI's "Most Wanted" List for Allegedly Murdering and Blowing Up His Family in Scottsdale, May Be in Arizona

Robert Fisher, one of the FBI's and Scottsdale Police Department's "most wanted" fugitives, may still be in Arizona, according to information relayed from the FBI.

Fisher's accused of killing his wife and two young kids, then blowing up their Scottsdale home in April 2001.

According to various media reports, including the Payson Roundup, a Coconino County Sheriff's deputy let some residents know that the FBI said Fisher might be living around the Payson area.

The FBI apparently didn't want everyone to know about that, saying the information was for law-enforcement only.

Fisher's actually not the only member of the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted" list with Arizona ties. On April 10, the FBI added Eric Toth, a former teacher/alleged child pornography producer who was last seen at a Phoenix homeless shelter in 2009.

And don't forget Jason Brown, who's accused of killing an armored-car guard outside a Phoenix movie theater in 2004.

Alexis Flores, another member of the list, was arrested on a felony charge in Phoenix in 2004, for which he had to provide a DNA sample. That DNA was allegedly found to belong to the same person who raped and murdered a 5-year-old girl several years before that in Pennsylvania, but that was only discovered after he was released from jail and deported back to Honduras.

Since the 10th person on the FBI's "most wanted" list, mobster Whitey Bulger, has been captured, four of the nine active fugitives on the list are either from or lived in Arizona.

As for Fisher, though, here's what the FBI says to look for:

Fisher is physically fit and is an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and fisherman. He has a noticeable gold crown on his upper left first bicuspid tooth. He may walk with an exaggerated erect posture and his chest pushed out due to a lower back injury. Fisher is known to chew tobacco heavily. He has ties to New Mexico and Florida. Fisher is believed to be in possession of several weapons, including a high-powered rifle.
