Between glitter, holographic surfaces, wax, and body paint, August's First Friday was a weird one. Despite the heat, art walk attendees were all smiles, especially at Unexpected with its Popsicles and the Monster truck making its freebie rounds. Outside of Songbird Coffee & Tea was the highlight of First Friday, with its huge painting by Talor Scott, complete with portraits of heartthrobs Bowie, James Dean, and Clint Eastwood.
