Memorial Day weekend in Phoenix always contains multitudes. From traditional ceremonies and family-friendly festivities to holiday-themed gatherings, there are activities and events for everyone over the three-day weekend.
That includes the party crowd.
Memorial Day weekend doesn’t just mark the start of pool party season in the Valley; it’s also a three-day excuse to let loose. Hence all the nightlife events, dance nights, theme parties and club events that occur during MDW.
Where are the best Memorial Day weekend parties in Phoenix in 2025? You’ll find them in hot spots like Tempe and Scottsdale or at upscale hotel events and lowbrow nightclubs from Friday, May 23, to Monday, May 26.

108 E. University Drive, TempeJump start your Memorial Day weekend revelry with an evening of beats, booze and bites during the TGIF Rooftop Pool Party on Friday at Tempe’s Canopy by Hilton Hotel. Local DJs provide the soundtrack from 4 to 8 p.m. and craft cocktails will be available for purchase. Admission is free and cabana rentals are $200.
The Pemberton
1121 N. Second St.The Pemberton will offer festivities throughout Memorial Day weekend, including celebrations that highlight some of its new amenities. Case in point: the pool area will feature daily parties with local DJs from Friday through Monday. Times vary. Tickets are $20 and towel service is included. On Sunday, the entire property will host the Alice in Wonderland Fire Circus that will include “immersive ambient activations” and an hour-long performance. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $100 for VIP packages with food and drinks.

The revamped venue features a new DJ booth and a series of immersive art installations, including a striking Candelabra Bottle Tree and a massive 3D Goddess Face with glowing OLED eyes. Pool parties will be held daily throughout the holiday weekend with EDM duo Yellow Claw headlining Monday’s event. Gates open at noon. Tickets are $30.

4363 N. 75th St., ScottsdaleThe folks at The Hot Chick serve up a enormous sausage fest on Saturday night during the hot dog-themed Glizzy Party. No baloney. The staff will don costumes, themed cocktails will be served and local DJs including Madd Rich and Devast8 will be on deck. Complimentary hot dogs will also be available. Relish every moment starting at 9 p.m. Admission is free.
Bar Smith
130 E. Washington St.A special Memorial Day weekend edition of the Solstice Saturdays will be staged at Bar Smith on May 24. Ramses Ja will host the party and DJs Robby Rob and Tio Gio will serve up sounds from 9 p.m. until last call. Cover is $10 with free admission before 11 p.m. if you RSVP online.
W Scottsdale
7277 E Camelback Rd, ScottsdaleThe W’s second-floor WET Deck will become a “coastal-inspired retreat” over Memorial Day weekend with “America Riviera” pool parties happening daily from Friday through Monday. There will be sun-drenched photo ops, high-energy sounds and high-style cocktails. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $50 and table service packages start at $1,000.

General admission tickets are $27.02 before 2 p.m. and $36.83 thereafter. VIP tickets range from $41.73 to $500.

801 N. Second St.Cobra’s Pre-Memorial Day party from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Sunday will be a “full throttle” experience, according to the arcade bar’s social media. Expect a mix of food trucks, DJs, drink specials along with retro games galore. Admission is free.

7419 E. Indian Plaza, ScottsdaleThe dance floor at Almost Famous will stay hot on Saturday night, courtesy of DJ legend Bad Boy Bill. If his four-on-the-floor tracks don’t get you moving, then nothing will. The Chicago-born EDM star will bring the beats starting at 10:15 p.m. Tickets are $10.
Melinda’s Alley

Adams St.Local party fiends can descend into the red-drenched wonderland of Melinda’s Alley on Sunday night for the latest edition of Beneath the Red Light, the dance party put on by Re:Sound Music and Friends. The subterranean affair starts at 9 p.m. and will include sets by Bedi, Michael Hooker, Gavin, and Mary Leon. Tickets are $25.
