affair with Mesa and actually consider moving there. You don’t have to
go through all that trouble. Really. Just know that this walk with food,
vendors, restaurants, and music happens every second Friday of the
month. And as a special bonus this time around, Mesa Arts Center is have

First Friday After First Friday @ The Quincy
Oh,
baby, it’s a party. This one’s dedicated to all the folks who are too
busy working on First Friday art walks to enjoy themselves. So they
moved the party a little later . . . way later. It starts at 2 a.m. (technically it’s Saturday morning). Want to live it up? Check out the facebook event page for details and click here for location details.
AIDS Walk A-Go-Go @ various locations
This event involves drinking and bar-hopping. So walk. Or take a cab. Or the light rail. Because you are going to get sauced on Saturday, September 11, when you head out to booze it up for AIDS research. That’s right, every drink you pay for benefits the fight against AIDS. We really can’t think of a better reason to drink. Click here for details.
Banned & Censored Video Game Free Play @ Bookmans
Both stores are sticking it to our collective sense of decency by inviting video game geeks to grab a controller and start killing, raping, and pulling out spinal cords on various banned video games on Sunday, September 12. It’s all a part of the store’s ongoing events for “Fight Censorship Month” and we totally fucking dig that. Click here and here for details.
