The list of Phoenix’s top Halloween costumes has arrived, and the top pick is, frankly surprising.
According to Google’s analysis of costume searches in September and October, the No. 1 costume you’ll be seeing through Halloween weekend is … Woody from “Toy Story.”
(To be honest, we’ve seen more Buzz Lightyears this year, but whatever).
Rounding out the top five in the Valley are Batman, Deadpool, Cleopatra and a 1920s flapper.

Nationwide, the most popular Halloween costume search is Shrunken Head Bob from the “Beetlejuice” movies. He’s just one of the characters from the film that is popular this year due to the release of the “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” sequel.
The rest of the U.S. top 10 is:
- Raygun (the Australian breakdancer behind the viral controversial Olympic performance)
- CatNap (from the video game “Poppy Playtime”)
- Delores LaFerve (from “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”)
- Pomni (from animated series “The Amazing Digital Circus”)
- Envy (from the film “Inside Out 2”)
- Red (from the film “Descendants: The Rise of Red”)
- Doctor Doom
- Sabrina Carpenter
- Lady Deadpool (from the film “Deadpool & Wolverine”)
