Heirloom's tagline is "An American Restaurant," although it's not the
fine-dining destination that chef-owner Michael DeMaria's award-
winning Michael's at the Citadel once was. Instead, it's a casual
setting for upscale American cooking, with smaller portions and
somewhat more budget-conscious pricing; most items are under $20. The
menu, which changes monthly, is designed for guests to choose two to
four courses apiece. Though not worth the trek from most parts of the
Valley, folks in the neighborhood will find it a fine spot for dinner.
