Celebrity Theatre is unique among Phoenix concert destinations. Thanks to its iconic status, distinctive look and the Valley’s only in-the-round setup, the 2,650-seat venue is a true gem.

It’s also got a lengthy history. Built in 1963 as the Phoenix Star Theatre, the place originally functioned as a home for Broadway-style performances. It didn’t take long for music to take over and become the focus as its rotating stage has hosted performances by a wealth of famous names over the decades. Sammy Davis Jr. and Nat King Cole. Etta James and Diana Ross. Even Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie and Fleetwood Mac have all played the place.

In more recent years, Celebrity Theatre has offered arena-level energy with club-like intimacy to the likes of Santigold, Trisha Paytas and Soccer Mommy. Classic rock and pop fans also love it (renowned Arizona concert promoter Danny Zelisko swears by the venue). Same for Latino concertgoers, who have filled the venue to capacity for regional Mexican stars, romantic balladeers and high-energy reggaeton artists.

So far in 2025, the Celebrity Theatre has featured gigs from October London, Edith Marquez and the legendary Al Stewart. The rest of the year will bring even more big names to its in-the-round stage. Here’s a look at every upcoming concert at the Celebrity Theatre in 2025.
