Decadence Arizona has the reputation of being the largest New Year’s Eve celebration in the Metro Phoenix area and the largest EDM event of the year.

This year, Global Dance and Relentless Beats are celebrating 11 years of the massive festival by welcoming fans to Decadence Arizona: The Portal of Illusions on Tuesday, December 30, and Wednesday, December 31, at Phoenix Raceway. The event features one of its most star-powered lineups to date.

Initially, the festival announced its first five artists: Knock2, known for his bass, house, and trap sounds, progressive house DJ Kaskade, techno veteran Green Velvet, experimental bass artist Tape B and UK garage producer Sammy Virji.

This will make Knock2’s first Arizona appearance since 2023. Additionally, it will be Kaskade’s first appearance in Arizona since PHX Lights and Green Velvet’s return since his Valentine’s Day weekend show at Warehouse 215. Tape B opened for Zed’s Dead earlier this year in May. Decadence will make Sammy Virji’s first (and last) Arizona appearance for 2025.

The promoter followed that first lineup drop on Instagram by unveiling another round of major names: “High priestess of hard techno” Sara Landry to return to Arizona for the first time in two years, a year after the release of her debut album “Spiritual Driveby,” EDM icon Zedd who may bring a show of time-honored classics, Subtronics returning to the Valley for the third time this year, including a sold-out Fourth of July show at Maya Dayclub and 2010s pop staple artist Mike Posner, known for hits like “Cooler than Me” and “I Took A Pill (In Ibizia).”

Drum ’n’ bass duo Chase and Status will return to Arizona after a sold-out, 360-stage summer performance. Tech-house producer Fisher, known for his bucket hats and larger-than-life stage persona, is also on board.

As the final artist announcement of its phase one lineup, Decadence announced who would perform the New Year’s Eve countdown set: Griz. Known for his funk-inspired dubstep sounds, Decadence is part of Griz’s first few shows after he took a two-year hiatus from the music scene.

The rolled-out festival lineup generated much hype for each post, with clear excitement building in the comment sections as each new artist was announced. Most fans echoed the sentiment that they were excited and impressed with the lineup and eager to hear the next set of DJs to be announced.

Here’s the lineup of performers for the Decadence Arizona Portal of Illusions 2025 event, time slots TBA:
