The Kesha and Scissor Sisters: Tits Out Tour kicks off July 1 in West Valley City, Utah, and hits Phoenix on July 6 at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheater. Special guest Slayyyter will set the night into motion.
Forbes reported that her new single “The One” shot quickly to number 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart almost as soon as it was released.
The song, which has lyrics like “I finally found the love, baby, I’m the one,” has a sultry edge and a flowy, groove-touched beat as it repeats that sentiment of self-contentment and the peace that comes along with it.
The track is from “Period,” which drops on July 4. She has already released a handful of the album’s other songs, too, like “Delusional” and “Joyride,” the latter of which has nearly 120 million Spotify plays. Jake from Scissor Sisters performed with her on the recent tour she wrapped up about a month ago. Since the two bands are pairing up for this round of shows, that might be a duet we’ll get to see here in the Valley. We’ll take it.
Speaking of taking things, don’t forget to peek at the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre bag policy.
