Sunset Daze, Reality Show Featuring Sun City Geriatrics, Debuts This Month

Just when we thought the bottom of the reality TV barrel had been scraped to give us The Jersey Shore, the We TV network unveiled its latest reality masterpiece, and it's featuring a little local flavor.

Sunset Daze is the network's latest attempt to cash in on the reality craze, and frankly we're not quite sure what to make of this one.

The show follows seven seniors -- and their golf carts -- in Sun City, a popular retiree hiding spot for those who, to put it politely, no longer have time on their side.

Think of it as a geriatric Jersey Shore, complete with a taste of the elderly singles scene, an antwacky stud, and, of course, booze.

Check out the trailer here.

The cast includes Jack, or "Mr. Romeo" as he is referred in the show, LaWanda, or "Hot Legs," and five other golden oldies with nicknames like "The New Girl in Town," "The Wild Child," and "Big Man on Campus."

The show airs on April 28 at 10 p.m. on the We TV network. For more information, click here.
