Chandler Fire Department officials say the girl was reaching for a toy that was inside the box when the lid came down on her head...Scottsdale police say a woman who led police on a high-speed chase yesterday. According to police, 26-year-old Francine Sue Hill led them on a chase that started in Mesa and ended when she crashed into a concrete barrier on Loop 202. Police say she admitted to smoking marijuana before the crash and drinking six 40-ounce bottle of beer with friends...A man who barricaded himself inside his Phoenix apartment Tuesday afternoon ended a standoff with police by killing himself, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office reports.
