The Rosticceria, located on Tatum Boulevard just north of Cactus Road, closed in October 2024 after less than a year in business. A few weeks later, The Mexicano moved in for a temporary pop-up after its location suffered a kitchen fire. In late January, The Mexicano moved back home to its original location and now, a new restaurant is taking shape.
The Maggiore Group is gearing up to open Patsy's New York Delicatessen this spring. Confused yet? Maybe a bagel will help.
“We’re bringing Arizona its first one-of-a-kind bagel bar, featuring 14 uniquely flavored cream cheeses — from artichoke and spinach dip to Nutella, and even a signature pastrami lox schmear,” Maggiore said in a news release. “Our New York-style bagels will be made fresh in-house daily, using authentic New York water for that perfect bite.”
While inspired by classic New York delis, the new concept will have plenty of the over-the-top touches that fans expect from any Maggiore Group concept. Along with the bagel bar, customers will be able to build their own egg creams at a custom soda bar.

The new concept will be split into different sections including a grab-and-go counter and sit-down dining room.
The Maggiore Group
The deli's name continues the Maggiore Group's tradition of looking to their family for inspiration. The new concept is named after Maggiore's grandfather, a butcher from the Bronx who went by "Patsy."
The Maggiore Group's concepts include Hash Kitchen, The Italiano, The Mexicano, The Sicilian Butcher and the Sicilian Baker. Its latest concept is set to join the family this spring.
