Following a long wait, the downtown Mesa location of Pedal Haus Brewery is finally ready to make its debut. The new restaurant and taproom is set to open on Nov. 15.
Mesa’s Pedal Haus will be the fourth location of the brewery for owner and prolific Valley restaurateur Julian Wright.
“We are looking forward to debuting this new concept for Pedal Haus – the ‘biergarten’ – which will provide a largely outdoor space for people to enjoy great beer, delicious food, lawn games, live music and more,” Wright said in a news release.

Pedal Haus Brewery will open its downtown Mesa biergarten on Nov. 15. Replacing the Pit Stop autobody shop, the new brewpub will boast a 6,000-square-foot dog-friendly patio.

The new location includes a 6,000-square-foot dog-friendly patio with an indoor/outdoor bar and a 2,300-square-foot indoor space. Customers can expect fire pits and a stage for live music as well as dining areas.
The drinks menu will include Pedal Haus brews along with a selection of wine and margaritas. Fans of Pedal Haus’ locations in Tempe, Chandler and downtown Phoenix will recognize a familiar food selection of brewpub classics including pretzels with beer cheese and bratwurst.
The brewery was previously scheduled to open on Sept. 26, but that opening got pushed back. Now, the space will finally welcome customers at its Nov. 15 grand opening celebration.
“Downtown Mesa is the perfect location for Pedal Haus’ new biergarten,” Mesa Mayor John Giles said in the release. “It will add a new dimension to our growing local brewery scene.”
