It’s been a stressful few weeks, and for many folks it’s time to concede that November did not go as planned. Instead of adding more drama to the Thanksgiving season, skip the hassle of the kitchen and let local restaurants do the delicious heavy lifting. These Phoenix restaurants are offering feasts to-go this Thanksgiving. 

STK Steakhouse

7134 E. Stetson Dr., Scottsdale
STK Steakhouse in Scottsdale is offering a sophisticated approach to the holiday feast. Indulge in their elegant roasted free-range turkey dinner for two that includes shallot and thyme confit thighs, sage stuffing, sauteed green beans, maple baked sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry orange chutney for $124. The package comes complete with a sliced pumpkin pie, and you can also add an STK Signature Side for $19 ($32 for the Lobster Mac and Cheese). Whole sliced salted pecan pumpkin pies are also available for $64.

Yes, it’s a gas station/car wash/knick-knackery. But The Thumb has become a hub for exemplary barbecue and fixings, and if you are tired of the traditional turkey, they have you covered. As a holiday exclusive, The Thumb's offering a limited amount of unsliced smoked brisket, which can comfortably feed 15 to 20 and can include a quart of their house sauce.

Urban Agave

The West Valley gem Urban Agave is taking on the turkey with a unique alternative to the (sometimes) uninspired bird by offering authentic Mexican tamales. $18 gets you a tamale plate with two tamales (green chicken chile or red chile pork), plus rice and beans. Liberty Station American Tavern and Smokehouse

Liberty Station American Tavern and Smokehouse is bringing out all the classic holiday stops this turkey season. Both the Terravita and DC Ranch locations are offering a Thanksgiving Feast to-go package, which includes a half-pound of sliced smoked turkey, mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, homestyle gravy, house bread and a pumpkin or apple pie. The price is $40 per person, and orders must be placed by Nov. 25th.

Customers can pick up their feast at a scheduled time between 3 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 27 or between 11 a.m. and noon on Nov. 28. To place an order for pick up at the Terravita location, call 480-595-9930. Customers ordering pick up at the DC Ranch location should call 480-278-7044.

Marcellino Ristorante

7114 E. Stetson Dr., Scottsdale
This might be the year you shake it up, throw tradition and the bird to the curb and serve what everyone really wants: pasta. If so, you can add a little Italian to your holiday feast with family-size takeout from Marcellino Ristorante. Choose between ravioli, paccatelli and gnocchi, all handmade and portioned to be enjoyed as a course or an accompaniment. The large size serves 15 to 20, and the medium serves eight to 12 guests.

The oversized ravioli are filled with a blend of spinach and ricotta cheese and topped with either a sauce of butter and fresh sage or tomato. The ravioli is $200 for a large and $120 for a medium. The paccatelli is a short, savory pasta in a hearty ragu of tomato, sausage and herbs and are priced at $145 for a large and $85 for a medium. The Gnocchi Sorrentina are light potato-pasta-parmigiana orbs served with a tomato sauce dotted with melted mozzarella or a creamy gorgonzola sauce. The gnocchi are $135 for a large or $80 for a medium. In addition, grilled lamb chops, served with a balsamic reduction, are available for $65 for a rack of eight.

Call Marcellino Ristorante at 480-990-9500 to place a pre-paid order. Orders must be placed by Nov. 26. Final pickup is available on Nov. 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. The restaurant will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Nana’s Kitchen

For those with plant-based diets that don’t want to miss out on the bountiful flavors and filling sides of Thanksgiving, the vegan soul food at Nana’s Kitchen in Chandler is an absolute must. The kitchen's holiday takeout plates include smothered fried chik’n, honey-baked ham, candied yams, green beans, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, herbed dressing and a fountain drink. Kona Grill will be putting their spin on the festivities with a pre-order dinner for two, available for pickup or delivery. Choose from the Macadamia Nut turkey for $76, traditional roasted turkey for $75 or a kids’ roasted turkey for $16. The meals also come with a selection of sides including miso mashed potatoes, brioche stuffing and sauteed green beans. Conclude the meal with a delicious pumpkin pie topped with caramel sauce for $16.

Sibling barbeque restaurants Little Miss and Full Speed Chicken & Ribs are pulling out all the stops this Turkey (and Brisket) Day. All three locations are selling whole turkey breast for $65 and a massive Thanksgiving sides bundle. $175 gets you enough mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, crispy fingerling potatoes, stuffing, gravy, rolls and a full-size pecan pie to feed four to six people. Little Miss BBQ is also offering a whole brisket for $175. BBQ sauces and seasonings can also be added to make things extra flavorful.

Pre-orders can be made at littlemissbbq.com and eatfullspeed.com. Orders will be available for pick-up on Nov. 28 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Full Speed and between 9 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. at Little Miss locations.

The third-generation family-owned New York-style deli is once again going the extra mile for its loyal fanbase with an extensive Thanksgiving to-go menu. Staff is currently taking pre-orders by phone only to ensure they get every detail correct. Options include family dinners, single dinners, holiday pies and sides. Turkey aside, Miracle Mile Deli is encouraging patrons to ā€œthink outside the birdā€ and add pastrami for $37 per pound and brisket for $34 per pound to their holiday feast. An individual oven-roasted turkey dinner will run you $24, and the Thanksgiving Feast, which is enough for six to eight folks, is $245. Orders must be placed by 2 p.m. on Nov. 26 and can be picked up between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Nov. 27.

Chula Seafood

Enough turkey talk. Everyone knows that the real star of the holiday is the sides, and Chula Seafood’s ā€œEverything but the Turkeyā€ packages will make hosting a breeze. The packages vary slightly based on location, so check with each establishment to see which combination you prefer. But with offerings like crab potato gratin with snow crab, goat cheese, gruyere and chives, a Shrimp Louie salad with house Russian dressing, heirloom tomatoes, egg, bibb lettuce, pickled onions and watermelon radish, or a clam stuffing featuring caramelized fennel, peppers, onions and pancetta, you really con't go wrong.

The bundles start at $150 and orders must be placed by Nov. 24. Pick-up begins on Nov. 27 after 11 a.m., and scheduled pick-up times at precise locations will be arranged upon preorder.

For a decadent add-on, all Valley Wide Chula locations are offering a maple-mustard glazed salmon with pecan butter kit that includes everything home cooks need to prepare this dish in their own kitchens. Along with the fresh fish, the kit includes a cherry wood plank, maple mustard glaze, pecan bourbon butter and cooking instructions. The finished product serves six to eight and the kit is $90. Perfect for all of your upcoming holiday celebrations, it's available from Nov. 15 through Jan. 3.

The mid-mod Hotel Valley Ho, a fixture of Scottsdale since 1956, has seen its share of Thanksgivings, and it knows that all work and no buffet make for a dull day. Treat yourself to their ā€œgobble til you wobbleā€ events on Thanksgiving at their restaurant, ZuZu, which offers both dine-in and takeout offerings. Organic half and whole turkeys are available, along with sides such as sweet potato gratin with parmesan and chipotle honey, bacon and Brussels sprouts hash, whipped potatoes and butternut squash soup.

Prices start at $269 for the half-turkey, and $399 for the whole-turkey package. A seasoned, uncooked whole organic turkey bundle is also available for $369. The whole turkey package should feed eight to 10 comfortably, while the half will be plenty for four people.
