Artists Open Studios During the 2016 ASU Ceramic Studio Tour
Two days, 15 stops, and more than 50 artists. That's the basic rundown on this year's Ceramic Studio Tour, presented February 20 and 21 by ASU Art Museum. Art nerds got to pop into open studios, watch artist demonstrations, ask artists questions about their inspirations and technique, and hang out with fellow fans of ceramic art. We checked out 14 studios, plus the ASU Art Museum Ceramic Research Center, and went in search of exhibitions featuring works by metro Phoenix ceramic artists. Check out a mix of works in progress, ceramics on exhibit, and some of the artists who created them.
