Topia is an original ballet created by Ballet Arizona Artistic Director Ib Andersen. The production combines elegant and athletic choreography with the desert beauty known only here in Arizona. The performance takes place on an outdoor, 80-foot panoramic stage at the Desert Botanical Garden and is set to the music of Beethoven's Symphony No. 6. The show runs until June 1st.

Just like all professional athletes, prepping and warming up is just as important as the game, or in this instance, the ballet itself. The dancers from Ballet Arizona are no exception. Checkout the "behind the scenes" images of Topia at the Desert Botanical Garden.
