Nia Witherspoon's Black Arts Matter teamed up with Arizona State University’s Performance in the Borderlands to celebrate and focus attention on the creative works of Black actors, directors, poets, and visual artists from Arizona and around the world from February 19 to 28. Pieces included The America Play, spoken word, and workshops for attendees learn hands-on.
