Phoenix Comicon's 2013 Badge Art Contest Winners

After weeks of voting, organizers of Phoenix Comicon have announced the winning entries of the Badge Art Contest for the annual four-day event and pop-culture fest. A total of nine artists from around Arizona – including such names as Val Hochberg, Jeff Pina, and John Domrzalski -- created dramatic and eye-catching works that will appear on the passes and badges worn by staff, special guests, and other attendees during the event, which invades the Phoenix Convention Center from on Thursday, May 23, to Sunday, May 26. Here’s the rundown of the top 13 winning badges.
