Thursday evening was opening night for the Phoenix Film Festival at the Harkins Cine Capri theater on Scottsdale Road and the 101. The night kicked off with a cocktail party in the Party Pavilion nearby with food and drinks from local Valley vendors, a silent auction featuring movie memorabilia, and live music from singer songwriter Micah Beverly. Afterwards the partygoers gathered in the theater for the first screening of the event, Robot and Frank. PHOTOS BY WILLIAM WESTFALL.
