007 Old World Oktoberfest will kick off Saturday, October 13 at 10AM. Please join us for the day long activities at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix The focus of the Old World Oktoberfest in the park is to celebrate the German heritage and culture with the traditional "Gemuetlichkeit" and entertainment with the Guggenbach Buam and the Guggenbach Trio directly from Germany. Local talent will entertain you with traditional dances, and the special German student dance group the DANK FUNKEN will perform their newest repertoire. Children can experience challenges from a rock climbing wall, crafts and other amusement in the Children's village. The choices in traditional German Food prepared by our native chef from "Der Kaffeekuchen" in Peoria include the typical Bratwurst and also schnitzels, roasted chicken with all the trimmings such as potato salad, sauerkraut, pretzels and the world famous apfelstrudel. To round out the typical Oktoberfest there will be "Warsteiner, the queen of beers" to quench your thirst.
