Metro Phoenix's LGBTQ bar scene has a lenghty history stretching back decades. From the '70s into the '90s and beyond, spots like The Connection, Taylor’s, and Trax flourished, providing members of the community places to drink, dance, and party. We’re taking a look back at vintage photos from many of these spots that were around during that era for a visual retrospective of the Valley’s beloved LGBTQ bars.
