They certainly don't make video games like they used to way back when. Hence the undeniable attraction of ZapCon, the annual two-day classic arcade and pinball convention that offers Valley gamers of all ages the chance take a warp zone back to the heyday of Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Mr. Do. This year's edition -- a.k.a. ZapCon 3.0 -- on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, featured locals spending a weekend playing more than 200 different vintage and retro pinball machines and arcade games that were housed inside the Mesa Convention Center.
