Arizona State University is back in Playboy magazine's top-10 party-school list.
Last year, ASU didn't make Playboy's cut -- which appears to be the first time ASU wasn't a top-10 party school in the history of Playboy's rankings.
This year, ASU is ranked ninth, behind West Virginia University, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Colorado, the University of Southern California, Florida State University, the University of Texas, Louisiana State University, and the University of Georgia.
Playboy's party-school rankings have been published in 1987, 2002, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012.
ASU ranked 13th in 1987, first in 2002, and third in 2006. In 2009, it ranked 15th, then sixth in 2010, third in 2011, and was not ranked in 2012.
Since police have been organizing an alcohol task-force to arrest people in Tempe by the hundreds, maybe the students really did earn their spot back on the party-school list.

Since ASU's president insists that the school has rid itself of its party-school reputation, it'll be interesting to see if he has anything to say about his school climbing the rankings for partyin'.
Recent notable party-school moments include students balking at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's threat to tackle the party-scene, a frat-boy being dumped near-dead from alcohol poisoning with a sticky-note slapped on him, and a baby doing a keg-stand.
