One new idea for every day in 2011. We're talking big, small, local, international, in action, and on the drawing board. Here's today's -- what's yours?
In a series of simple digital portraits, Canadian photographer Ulric Collette attempts to answer the question: How much do you look like your mother, son, cousin, brother, or sister?
After photographing each pair, he stitches two halves of the family members' faces to form a single image. To the right is Collette with his cousin Justine.
Collette writes the project started as a daily photograph-type exercise, which grew as he combined a photograph of himself and his son. See more of the series on his website.
