When it comes to ostriches in Chandler, the majestic birds rule the roost. The Phoenix suburb features a storied legacy with ostrich ranching, dating back to the 1890s when city founder Andrew J. Chandler, a veterinarian and farmer, imported the flightless birds.

Then there's the Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival, a popular springtime event spanning two weekends that includes rides, games, food vendors, live entertainment and nightly concerts by big-name recording artists. The true stars of the annual event, though, are its namesake birds.

The 2025 Ostrich Festival will include new acts and attractions, including pig racing and a lumberjack show. Thousands of Valley residents are expected to attend the event, so it’s best to plan ahead.

Here’s everything to known about the Chandler Ostrich Festival 2025, including ticket discounts, hours and parking info.
