Date Night

Comedian Mike Birbiglia has told his tale of sleepwalking all the way through a La Quinta second-story window on This American Life, as an off-Broadway one-man show, in novel form, and, most recently, through his first film endeavor, Sleepwalk with Me, in which he stars opposite Lauren Ambrose. As compelling as that story of a worsening sleep disorder and a falling-apart romantic relationship is, to be perfectly frank, we're bored with hearing it over and over again.

That's precisely why we're eager to see his new show, Mike Birbiglia's My Girlfriend's Boyfriend. In the one-man show, he delves into his love life, replete with embarrassments and missteps, with the same brutality and honesty that we've come to expect from all things stamped Birbiglia.
