Irish Wolfhound Pub

We’re just going to say it: The far reaches of the Valley can be lacking in top-quality watering holes. Fortunately for the denizens of Surprise, Irish Wolfhound Restaurant & Pub isn’t a good bar by edge-of-town standards; it’s a genuinely great place to eat, drink and be merry. It’s got all the necessary trappings of a proper Irish pub: Guinness signs and maps of the Emerald Isle dot the large space. The kitchen serves up fish and chips, corned beef and cabbage and on the weekends, a full Irish breakfast. But no Irish pub is complete without craic — a word that means fun and good cheer — and Irish Wolfhound’s got it in spades. Bartenders greet regulars by name, strangers become friends over pints and the event calendar is packed with live music, karaoke and trivia nights. We raise our glass to the West Valley folks who need only take a short drive to arrive at the door of the Irish Wolfhound.
